The ISI is established under Dutch law and is governed by its Statutes. The Statutes and By-Laws are available in English.
Current Approval
The adjusted Statutes of the International Statistical Institute were approved during the ISI General Assembly on 8 October 2025.
These Statutes outline the ISI’s objectives, governance structure, and operational principles that guide our global statistical community.
At present, the Statutes are in the process of being registered with the Chamber of Commerce.
