Holger Dette appointed as Editor-in-Chief of Stat

The ISI is pleased to announce that Professor Dr. Holger Dette from Department of Mathematics, Institute of Statistics at Ruhr-Universitaet Bochum, Germany, will serve as Editor-in-Chief of Stat from 1 January 2023.

Professor Dette is an Elected Member of the International Statistical Institute, Fellow of the American Statistical Association and Fellow of the Institute of Mathematical Statistics. He has served as Editor of Stat since 2012, Editor of Journal of Statistical Planning and Inference since 2012, Editor-in-Chief of Bernoulli Journal (2016-2018) and Editor for Metrika (2008-2012). Professor Dette’s research interests are, among others, optimum experimental design, time series analysis, functional data, nonparametric regression and biostatistics.
