Walter Radermacher appointed Chair of the ISI Advisory Board on Ethics

In December 2021, the ISI Executive Committee appointed Walter Radermacher, current President of FENStatS, as Chair of the ISI Advisory Board on Ethics (ABE) effective 1 January 2022.

Walter succeeded the previous Chair, Stephen Penneck, who has done an excellent work in chairing the ISI Advisory Board on Ethics. We would like to express our great appreciation to Steve for his invaluable contribution to the work of the committee.

The ISI Advisory Board on Ethics was established in 2010. The Board advises the Executive Committee and Council on relevant ethical issues, and recommends or undertakes activities for promoting observance of ethical principles in statistics. The work of the Board is based on the ISI Declaration on Professional Ethics and guided by ISI’s mission and its relevant objectives.
