Mike K.P. So from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology has been appointed as the new Chair of the East Asia Outreach Committee.
Mike K.P. So is currently the secretary of the EAOC and will assume his new role on 1 January 2022.
Mike will succeed the present Chair Cathy Chen, who did excellent work in chairing the Committee. We thank Cathy for her outstanding leadership and invaluable contribution to the work of EAOC since the time she assumed her role in 2011. Cathy will remain a member of EAOC.
