ISI Reduces its Membership Fees for
Developing Country Members from 2011 Onwards

At the meetings of the ISI Executive Committee and Council in Iceland in July 2010, the ISI decided to reduce the membership fees for developing countries from the present 50% reduction to a 70% reduction starting in 2011.

In addition, the ISI decided to change the classification of developing countries and it now follows the World Bank list. This list of developing countries goes into effect with the 2011 membership year.
