The ISI Executive Committee directs the International Statistical Institute in conformity with the Statutes, by-laws and decisions of the General Assembly and the ISI Council. The members of the committee are elected as specified in the Statutes #5 and the By-laws 203. Guidelines for the election are given under 1.1.d.
