All Votes Counted: ISI membership favours the new ISI Statutes and By-Laws
On 15 March 2011 a complete package with information about the Refocussing of the ISI and the proposals for the revised Statutes and By-Laws has been sent by ‘normal’ mail to all ISI Elected Members that were entitled to vote. The membership could vote by mail ballot or through electronic means. The voting period ended on 1st of July 2011.
We are happy to announce that 45.47% of all Elected members, which is more than the 33,3 % needed, voted. 94.31% voted Yes and 5.69% No. These results are preliminary because they need confirmation by a second independent teller.
This will mean that the revised ISI Statutes and By-Laws can be presented for decision making to the ISI General Assembly on Thursday 25 August 2011in Dublin.
We thank all the ISI members who voted in this round.
